| qEEG Expert Series 3 - Online Training Courses This series of short topical courses, taught by Jay Gunkelman, QEEGD, will have a mix of raw EEGs being reviewed/processed, as well as short related lectures and discussion. This Expert Series classes are held in the NTE Real-Time Online Classroom from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Eastern Time Course 1: EEG Case: Alpha with multiple spectral peaks (fusiform alpha). Discussion: Alpha generators, frequency tuning, generating components and cortical distribution, including Kappa.
Course 2: EEG case: temporal lobe epilepsy. Discussion: photosensitive epilepsy, and NF in epilepsy.
Course 3: EEG Case: Beta spindles. Discussion: Medication; Compensatory, or abnormality.
Course 4: EEG and Consciousness (discussion only). Slow Cortical Potentials and Gamma Healing and EEG entrainment: connectivity's mechanism. Jay Gunkelman’s involvement in applied psychophysiology and biofeedback dates back to 1972 with the grant funding of the first State Hospital based biofeedback laboratory.
