Amazingly durable, the 8500 may be used with reusable or disposable sensors to conveniently monitor neonates, infants, children and adults. The 8500 is an extremely reliable portable pulse oximeter, requiring no periodic maintenance or calibration.

The 8500 has been tested and approved by the USAF for aeromedical use.
