Ask your insurance if QEEG code 95816 is covered. Sometimes the Q will be covered while the Neurofeedback sessions are seldom covered.Yes, most of the parents I see are the ones who are at their wits end . The younger the brain, the greater the plasticity. It would have been better to begin NFB at age 7 for your son to avoid 6 years lost & 6 years of him not living up to his potential. The good news is that age 13 is better than beginning at age 30. I have many young men who should be in the prime of their lives, but are struggling with a host of mental/emotional issues dropped out of school, addicted to video games, dead end jobs, wives on the verge of leaving, etc. Your son\'s brain is vacillating between two extremes. NfB can bring him back into balance. Good luck.

Reliable, portable, versitile encoder
We have been using the Pro Comp 2 encoders for years. They are very reliable and the small size allows for greater portability. The are quite versitile, and can be used for EEG Biofeedback or body biofeedback or a combination of both. One channel of the EEG even has a built in amp. And the customer service excellent. I recommend it as a great value.
