Each pair combines a 9 mm cup contact, 3.5" (8.9 cm) lead wire, and a 1.5 mm DIN touch-proof socket so you can plug directly into the cap's ear drops and keep wiring close to the head.

A spring-loaded clip with a plastic cover grips the earlobe securely while helping maintain stable impedances for EEG recordings, without hard metal edges against the skin.
