Could you tell me whether the date on nuprep tubes is a use by date, or what the date represents? I’m cleaning up a retired practitioner’s office and have found a large supply of unopened boxes of tubes with a 2017 date. Also, can they be safely discarded in trash?

The date is a best used by date. If they are un-opened it is likely they are good still. These can be thrown away.
