Single user, vaginal sensor; compatible with most sEMG snap style monitor cables (may require adaptor).
Internal vaginal and anal sensors make the most faithful EMG measurements, since they directly contact the pelvic floor muscles. SenseRx Vaginal and Anal Sensors are designed to provide the next level of accuracy and reproducibility. Their longitudinal (lengthwise, not circular) detection electrodes maintain the proper orientation to muscle fibers for highest accuracy.
Their self-seating design and clearly marked orientation allows the consistent placement necessary for reproducible measurements. Because they are self-seating, SenseRx sensors can be patient-inserted and patients can remain fully clothed during treatments.
I have included a data sheet on 304SS ( Stainless Steel) which is the material the Vaginal electrodes are made from.
In addition to their inherent corrosion resistance, nickel-containing stainless steels are easy to form and weld; they remain ductile at very low temperatures and yet can be used for high-temperature applications. In addition, unlike conventional steel and non-nickel-containing stainless steel, they are non-magnetic. This means they can be made into an exceptionally wide range of products, spanning applications in the chemical industry, the health sector and domestic uses. In fact, nickel is so important that nickel-containing grades make up 75% of stainless steel production. The best-known of these are Type 304, which has 8% nickel and Type 316, which has 11%.

SRS sensors have always been the "quality standard" for biofeedback treatments of incontinence. SRS sensors have been used by over 60,000 patients and have been cited in numerous medical texts and peer-reviewed articles.
Adaptors may be required for some brands of sEMG cables. If you are using a three snap EMG use the SRS 4693 . The SenseRx cable terminates in phone style plug.
