Ten20 is adhesive, washable, non-drying conductive paste formulated for securing non-gelled neurodiagnostic electrodes. Ten20 balances strong adhesion with high-quality signal transmission and cleans off easily with water.
Ten20 Key Benefits
- Optimized signal quality with balanced adhesion and conductivity.
- Adhesive hold keeps surface electrodes in place throughout testing.
- Washable non-drying formula allows fast, solvent-free cleanup.
- Latex-free and non-toxic formulation.
When to Use
Use Ten20 whenever electrodes need to stay in place with clear, stable signal transmission during neurodiagnostic
testing such as:
- EEG examinations
- qEEG assessments
- Evoked potential (EP) procedures
- Polysomnography (PSG)
- Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT)
Application Instruction
- Prepare the skin: Gently abrade the site with an abrasive product such as Nuprep Skin
Preparation Gel to lower impedance and improve signal quality.
- Apply the conductive paste: Place an adequate amount of Ten20 Conductive Paste on the dry
electrode, ensuring the entire contact surface is evenly covered.
- Position the electrode: Place the electrode onto the prepared skin area, pressing lightly
to ensure full contact.
- Secure the electrode: Use sports tape or a similar adhesive to keep the electrode firmly in
place throughout the recording session.
- After use: Gently remove the electrode and wash away any remaining Ten20 paste with warm
water.
Ingredients
Polyoxyethylene 20 Cetyl Ether, Water, Glycerin, Calcium Carbonate, 1,2-Propanediol, Potassium Chloride, Gelwhite
(Montmorillonite), Sodium Chloride, Polyoxyethylene 20 Sorbitol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
Safety Information
Ten20 Conductive Paste is for topical use on intact skin only. Do not apply near open wounds, bruised areas, or
compromised skin.
The paste is latex-free and manufactured using latex-free gloves and materials.
Patients with known skin allergies or sensitivities to cosmetics or lotions may experience irritation. In such
cases, the healthcare professional should evaluate whether use is appropriate. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Ten20 contains insoluble materials that may interfere with MRI imaging. Ensure all paste is thoroughly removed from
electrode sites after testing. Do not use with current-inducing electrodes.
Storage and Handling
- Store at room temperature with containers tightly closed.
- Avoid prolonged cold or freezing.
- Three-year shelf life (see expiration date on packaging).
- Avoid eye contact; rinse with warm water for 10–15 minutes if exposure occurs.
- Non-toxic if accidentally ingested.
- Safe for most patients when used as directed.
