Spectra 360 is the only salt-free and chloride-free electrically conductive gel, recommended for all electromedical procedures. 250g (8.5oz) tube.
Specta 360 Key Benefits
Specta 360's salt-free characteristics make it particularly suitable for long-term applications. Spectra 360 differs significantly
from all other electrically conductive media. It works by wetting the skin, thereby reducing skin resistance.
Spectra 360 goes on easy, gives you clear, steady signals with fewer re-dos, and rinses off with plain water. It's
low-odor
and non-staining, and its bacteriostatic formula makes day-to-day use simple and hygienic. No fuss, just reliable
performance.
- Salt-free conductive gel helps minimize skin irritation and corrosion on electrodes.
- Consistent, low-noise contact supports cleaner tracings and fewer re-placements.
- Water-soluble, non-staining, non-gritty texture for easy cleanup and patient comfort.
- Bacteriostatic formula designed for hygienic routine use.
- Non-flammable, non-corrosive; straightforward handling under normal conditions.
When to Use
Use Spectra 360 when you need a quick, dependable conductive interface without saline. It’s built for smooth setups,
stable signals, and fast turnaround between patients.
- ECG lead placement and monitoring where a salt-free gel is preferred.
- EMG, TENS, and biofeedback with surface electrodes on intact skin.
- General electrophysiology procedures requiring reliable, non-saline conductivity.
- Not indicated for defibrillation; follow your device and pad manufacturer’s guidance.
Application Instructions
- Follow the electrode/device manufacturer’s instructions and facility prep protocol.
- Apply a small amount to the electrode surface and spread into a thin, even film.
- Seat the electrode on clean, dry skin and ensure full contact.
- Verify signal quality; add or adjust gel/electrode placement as needed.
- Avoid touching the tube tip to the patient or equipment to reduce contamination.
Clean Up
- Skin and electrodes: wipe away with a soft cloth moistened with water; wash skin with mild soap and water if
residue remains.
- Hair or fabrics: pre-rinse with warm water, then launder normally.
- Spills: gel is slippery. Absorb and mop with water; post a caution sign until dry.
Ingredients
Proprietary, salt-free conductive gel. Full ingredient disclosure is not published. Product
literature indicates a bacteriostatic, water-soluble formulation; avoid use in patients with known sensitivity to
parabens.
Safety Information
- For external use on intact, unbroken skin only.
- Discontinue use if redness, irritation, or discomfort develops.
- Avoid contact with eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. If swallowed, seek medical advice.
- Do not use for defibrillation unless explicitly permitted by pad/device instructions.
Storage and Handling
- Keep capped when not in use; store at room temperature.
- Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat; avoid freezing.
- Dispose of unused product and empty containers according to local regulations for non-hazardous waste.
