Tensive Conductive Adhesive Gel provides immediate conductivity and secure, tape-free adhesion for TENS, EMG, EEG, EP/ERP, long-term EEG, and PSG. It wipes off easily and is comparable to EC2/EC2+ electrode creams.
Tensive Key Benefits
- Conductive adhesive gel designed for TENS, EMG, EEG, and other electromedical procedures.
- Bacteriostatic; non-flammable and odorless.
- Water-soluble for easy cleanup.
- Not indicated for defibrillation (do not use for defib procedures).
When to Use
Get dependable contact, cleaner signals, and fewer do-overs. Tensive goes on smoothly, stays put without the mess.
It rinses off with water, helping you move faster between patients while keeping comfort high and artifacts low.
- As the conductive/adhesive interface for TENS therapy electrodes.
- Surface EMG recordings with disposable/reusable electrodes.
- Routine scalp EEG with cup or disc electrodes.
- Other external, non-defibrillation electromedical applications on intact skin.
Application Instructions
- Follow your device manufacturer's Instructions for Use for electrode setup.
- Apply a thin, even film of Tensive to the electrode surface: place one drop at the center, then spread over the
electrode.
- Avoid excess gel, which can reduce adhesion to skin.
Clean Up
- Peel electrodes off slowly while supporting the skin.
- Wipe residual gel with a soft tissue or gauze.
- Wash the area with warm water; use mild soap if any residue remains.
- Pat dry before applying new electrodes.
Clean promptly after use to prevent build-up on electrodes and equipment.
Avoid abrasive pads or metal brushes that can scratch electrode surfaces.
Verify connectors are dry before reconnecting to devices.
