The ProComp Infiniti is an 8 channel biofeedback and neurofeedback system with the power needed for real-time data acquisition in any clinical or educational setting.
ProComp Infiniti features eight protected-pin sensor inputs, with two high-speed channels sampled at 2048 samples per second and six
additional channels sampled at 256 samples per second.
Two high-speed channels deliver excellent signal fidelity for viewing raw EEG, EMG, and EKG. The remaining six
channels support flexible sensor combinations, including EEG, EKG, RMS EMG, skin conductance, heart rate, blood volume
pulse, respiration, goniometry, force, and voltage input. Sensors are not included with this system.
Housed in an ergonomic case and requiring only a USB connection to the computer (via the included interface), it works
with most PC laptops and desktops. Data can be captured live through the fiber-optic connection or recorded to a
CompactFlash memory card for later upload to the PC.
ProComp Infiniti also includes internal, user-activated calibration to help maintain consistent signal quality
without the downtime and expense of factory recalibration.
Overall, ProComp Infiniti supports a broad range of objective physiological measures commonly used for clinical
observation and biofeedback training.
ProComp Infiniti Key Benefits
Hardware Features
ProComp Infiniti is built for clinicians who want one encoder that can cover a wide range of protocols without
compromise. You get high-speed channels for clean raw signals, flexible inputs for multi-modal training, and
practical features that keep sessions moving when a clinic day gets busy.
- USB connection via the TT-USB interface for straightforward PC setup
- Fiber-optic connection between the encoder and interface to provide strong electrical isolation
- Internal, user-activated calibration to help maintain consistent signal quality without factory
downtime
- Onboard recording support with the ability to save sessions to a CompactFlash memory card for
later upload
- Integrated impedance checking support when used with compatible EEG impedance hardware
- Two high-speed channels sampled at 2048 samples per second for high-fidelity raw EEG, EMG, and
EKG
- Six additional channels sampled at 256 samples per second for slower physiological measures and
mixed-modality sessions
- Automatic sensor recognition to help streamline configuration and reduce setup errors
- Compact Flash recording option for offline capture and later upload
- Sturdy, ergonomic enclosure designed for practical day-to-day clinical use
- Easy-access DIP switches for quick hardware configuration when needed
- Recessed fiber-optic connector to help protect the port and reduce cable strain
BioGraph Software Features
ProComp Infiniti is designed to run with Thought Technology's BioGraph software ecosystem, where channel sets,
screens, and application suites are matched to the encoder's capabilities. If you want to go beyond out-of-the-box
screens, Developer Tools support lets advanced users build custom displays, scripts, and workflows.
- Real-time frequency analysis for monitoring EEG and other signal content during sessions
- User-programmable waveform arithmetic and statistics with DSP tools for advanced signal
processing
- Fast 3D spectral arrays for visualizing frequency activity trends over time
- Software filtering and export tools that support sending recorded data to Microsoft Excel for
additional calculations
- Real-time event marking and annotations to document protocol changes, artifacts, and session
milestones
Why choose ProComp Infiniti?
Use ProComp Infiniti when you need a flexible, multi-channel platform that supports both neurofeedback and peripheral
biofeedback in the same session. It's well suited for clinics, teaching labs, and research settings where consistent
signal quality, repeatable setups, and the ability to combine multiple physiological measures are important.
It's also a strong choice when you want high-fidelity raw signals for EEG/EMG/EKG on the two high-speed channels,
while still capturing slower measures on additional channels. This makes it practical for protocols that require
synchronized data across modalities and for workflows where sessions may be recorded live to a PC or saved for
upload later.
- Neurofeedback sessions using raw EEG channels, including protocols that benefit from high sampling rates
- Multi-modal training that combines EEG with SEMG, HR/BVP, respiration, skin conductance, temperature, or other
peripheral measures
- Clinical observation and objective physiological monitoring during training or baseline assessment sessions
- Rehabilitation and muscle re-education workflows using SEMG plus movement or force measurements
- Education and supervised training rooms where flexibility across modalities is important
- Mobile or space-constrained setups where Compact Flash recording is useful
