Tele-Infiniti Compact Flash Wireless Card

Tele-Infiniti CF (compact flash) is a telemetry option for Thought Technology ProComp5 Infiniti, ProComp Infiniti and FlexComp Infiniti encoders. The use of Tele-Infiniti CF eliminates the need for a fiber optic cable between the computer and the encoder. It is based on Bluetooth 2.0, Class I, with a range up to 300 ft (or 100 meters).

Tele-Infiniti CF is now available for the Procomp5 Infiniti(5-channel),Procomp Infiniti (8-channel) or Flexcomp Infiniti(10-channel) encoders.

The unit disappears into the Compact Flash slot, leaving only the antenna visible useful for sports aoptic connection may hinder an athlete, such as a golfer or archer.

Tele-Infiniti CFs can send up to 10 channels at 2048 samples/second makes this a powerful tool, not just for sports, but for ergonomics, physical therapy, physiatry or any of a monomics, physical therapy, physiatry or any of a myriad of clinical applications.

Wireless Data Transmission finds its prime use when a user is ambulatory and real-time data monitoring is required. Optionally, these systems can record to any CF memory module; the data can then be transferred to the PC.

The Tele-Infiniti CF plugs into the compact flash slot on the Procomp 8, Procomp 5 and Flexcomp 10 channel biofeedback systems.

More specific scenarios are as below:

• If the encoder serial number is greater than or equal to DA1376 for FlexComp,CA4261 for ProComp, CB1180 for ProComp5, the encoder is fully compatible, no update is necessary
• If the encoder serial number is greater than or equal to DA1314 for FlexComp, CA4000 for ProComp Infiniti, CB1088 for ProComp5, the encoder can be updated in the field (no need to ship it back to Thought Technology Ltd). A Compact Flash card is required in order to perform firmware update of the encoder. Firmware update procedure will be provided.
• Encoder has to be shipped back to Thought Technology Ltd. for update if the serial number is smaller than DA1314 for FlexComp, CA4000 for ProComp Infiniti, CB1088 for ProComp5. UNLESS it came back for repair since January 2008. Distributors or customers must contact Thought Technology Ltd. prior to shipping the unit back to make sure if sending back is necessary or not. If necessary, an advanced replacement will be sent to dealer or customer.
